  "REMEMBER US" 2

  “Remember Us” is about kind of looking back on the good times in a past relationship that you may revisit occasionally. I think it’s, to me, one of the most relatable songs on the project, as far as just being able to look back on a time of your life that, you know, there may have been a lot of bad things that went on during that time, but you kind of choose to look at the good stuff instead. And so, I hope you guys enjoy this song.

  "AIN’T BEEN THERE"

  “Ain’t Been There Yet” is probably – it’s definitely one of my favorites off of this project. To me, it kind of wraps the whole thing up in the sense of who I am as an artist. I feel like that song - when I wrote it, I wrote it with David Lee Murphy who’s been one of my musical heroes for a long time, and just to be in the room with him and kind of get his take on this idea was really cool and special to me. I’ve loved it ever since we came out of the room with it, and it’s just got a different kind of take on trying to get away from a memory that, you know, you don’t want around. I don’t know it’s just got a special thing; it’s kind of got a classic, retro feel so I don’t know. I love this song. If I had to pick one to represent me as an artist, it would probably be this one.

  "IT AIN'T THE LEAVIN'"

  “It Ain’t The Leavin’” to me feels like the attitude song on the project. When we were picking songs, we were trying to kind of come up with a few different approaches, I guess, on how to split the project up, and it was one that stuck out to me as well in the sense of just being more of a rock, edgy song. You know, I grew up on Late 90’s/Early 2000’s rock, and so it’s one of my favorites on the project for sure - definitely one of the more fun songs to play in our live sets. So hopefully, you feel that as well when you listen to this one.

  "WON’T BE AS GOOD"

  “Won’t Be As Good” to me is the fun song on the project. When we started putting together songs, it was one that kind of stuck out to me. It’s just a fun summer song that you want to listen to on a boat somewhere, so I hope you guys enjoy it. Go give it a listen!
