  "ALONG FOR THE RIDE"

  "Along For The Ride" was written on a journey to Alabama. My girlfriend was sat in the shotgun seat and a Beyonce song came on. She cranked that thing up to ten, kicked her feet up on the dash and started singing at the top of her lungs. And I just couldn't take my eyes off her and the line I might have my hands on the wheel, but I'm just along for the ride came to mind. So that's how that song was written.

  "OVERNIGHT"

  "Overnight" is a song that I actually, funny enough, wrote in my sleep. I was back in Scotland in 2020, I woke up at about two-thirty in the morning, I had this melody in my head, I sang it into my little eight-track at the bottom of my bed. I woke up the next day and had the concept of I ain't getting over you overnight. So pieced together the melody I wrote at two-thirty in the morning with this concept and that is exactly how "Overnight" was written and it was co-written over Zoom with my buddies Andy Elbert and Kevin Bard.

  "THING ABOUT CHANGE"

  "Thing About Change" is a song that I wrote about a month after meeting my girlfriend. I just knew from the second I met her that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Fast forward two years, we just got engaged and this song is still so relevant. So thank you to her for giving me this song.
