  "LET IT FLOW"

  "Let it Flow” is a really cool story about two young lovers who are reminiscing about their time together when they were young and looking back on it with just like great memories, and it’s a really pretty song. We have Hailey Whitters on it, and she added so much to this song and this is one of our favorites from the album.

  “Best Thing About Me Now” is a song about finding someone new and realizing that they’re probably the reason why everything feels like it’s going in the right direction in your life.

  “High Cost of Loving You” is a really fun track. When we first heard it we knew that it was a King Calaway song, so it’s a good time live and we just love playing it.

  "CALIFORNIA GOLD"

  “California Gold” is about being on a journey where you know you’re just trying to go back to the person you love the most and how you can see some incredible things in this world but sometimes it’s just that one person who really stands out.

  "DENIM JACKET"

  “Denim Jacket” is a song that we wrote about someone that I was seeing and how it kinda ended in not the best way and although I was upset about the relationship ending I was more upset about the fact that she took my favorite denim jacket and didn’t give it back.

  "HOMETOWN NIGHT"

  “Hometown Night” is a song that honestly was just really inspired by the way Caleb used to drive home a lot of weekends to his hometown and have a night out with friends. So we just wrote a song about doing exactly that. It was about getting back to your town and with all your friends from school and just having a night out on the lash.

  "EASE MY TROUBLED MIND"

  “Ease My Troubled Mind” is about being exhausted on the road and wanting to be with a loved one, and that person giving you strength to go out and do it again.

  "WHEN I GET HOME"

  “When I Get Home” is a song that Zac Brown brought to us in the studio and it really struck us for the lyrical content. It’s just a song about forgiveness and redemption. Maybe you’ve messed up with that person but when you get home you’re just hoping for forgiveness.

  "WHEN I CALL YOUR NAME"

  “When I Call Your Name” is a cover of probably one of the best country songs that we’ve ever heard as a band. It’s a beautiful, beautiful ballad by Vince Gill and we kind of felt very ambitious when we thought let’s give it a go in the studio but we had the seal of approval from Vince himself and we’re just so stoked that we can put it on the album.

  "I'M FEELING GOOD"

  “I’m Feeling Good” is one of those songs when you hear it, it gets stuck in your head. You can’t stop singing it. We have a blast with this one live and it’s a little ode and tribute to one of our favorite bands, Steve Miller Band. This one just, you have a great time when you hear it and you just feel good when you hear “I’m Feeling Good.”

  "DIVE BAR"

  Alright so when we were writing “Dive Bar” we were just kinda thinking about how despite all the things in the world that are our differences and pull us apart there’s probably so many things that we actually share in common and it’s just this feeling that if we actually did all get together and have a beer on a Saturday night, we’d probably feel we have so much that we share in terms of memories and life experiences.

  "WHAT I KNOW NOW"

  “What I Know Now” is one of our favorites on the album. It’s one that Zac brought us like early in the studio process. We just really love the whole vibe of it and can’t wait for everybody to hear it.

  "HEATHEN"

  “Heathen” is probably one of the most outside of the box King Calaway songs that we’ve written, that we’ve recorded, and this is one that we just wanted to have fun with and just kinda jam on and go all out when it came to the production. We added some vocalists onto this. We added Marcus King playing a ripping guitar solo onto it. It’s like six minutes long, but it’s a jam. It’s so fun, and it’s so fun to play, and it’s definitely one of the more ambitious King Calaway songs.

  "THE DASH"

  Closing out the album is a song called “The Dash” which is just about when you look back into your life after you have gone, when people look back at your life after you have gone. It’s not about what you did when you were born, what you did when you died. It’s about what you did in between, in that dash because life can go in a flash, and in a dash, and so it’s about those moments you spent in this life and how you took advantage of it, and how you helped other people, and what you did for yourself. It’s a really meaningful song and it’s a great way to close out the record.
